Transit Services
The City's transit system consists of five routes that run within the Commerce City limits Monday through Saturday. Two routes are in operation on Sunday, with one stopping at the Commerce Shopping Center on Whittier/Goodrich Boulevards, and the other route stopping at Churches located throughout the city.
Medi-Ride Services
The City's Medi-Ride service provides senior and disabled Commerce residents transportation to/from medical appointments within a 12-mile radius of City Hall. For passengers whose medical appointments are within eight miles of City Hall or require a wheelchair lift equipped vehicle, service is provided by a Medi-Van. For passengers whose destination is between eight and twelve miles from City Hall, transportation is provided by the California Taxi Company. Service hours are between 8am and 3pm., Monday through Friday.
No Medi-Ride service is provided on weekends or City observed holidays. The earliest available pick up time is 8 a.m. and passengers must call for a return pick up no later than 3 p.m. Appointments may be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8-5, by calling (323) 887-4480.
Excursion Services
Excursion trips are provided to City-recognized Civic and Service organizations.
