VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK
 Mission Statement
One of four neighborhood parks in the City of Commerce, the Park offers outdoor activities such as organized youth sports in basketball, flag football, soccer, softball, volleyball, picnic shelters, playgrounds and a children's wading pool which is opened during the Summer. The Park also has a class "A" baseball stadium with grandstand seating for over 2,000 spectators. The Park has a community center, which offers an array of recreational programs and activities for all age levels. Activities include a pre-school program, children and adult arts & craft program, and a variety of organized youth programs. The facility has a kitchen and meeting area, which is available for authorized use for parties and other social occasions. In addition the Veterans Park facility has indoor racquetball courts and indoor basketball facility, a physical fitness facility, men and woman locker rooms, and a 20-lane indoor marksmanship range.
