We encourage residents and business owners to keep track of serial numbers for high value items like electronics.If these items are ever stolen, police can positively identify your valuables.Items without serial numbers can be engraved with your California Driver’s license number using an engraving pen.The City will loan you one of our engravers and show you how to properly engrave your items.Stolen property is often recovered this way!
