The address of the polling place as shown on the back of the official "Sample Ballot and Voter Information Pamphlet" is incorrect for some voters. Those voters will receive an updated Sample Ballot Cover identifying correct polling place location.

Voting and Election Information The City of Commerce General
Municipal Election is held in March during odd-numbered years. The City Council
is composed of five Council Members elected at-large. The Mayor is selected by
other members of the City Council for a term of one year.
Council Members serve for staggered terms of
four years. There is term limit of three
terms in the City. This means you cannot
serve more than three consecutive four-year terms as a Councilmember. But you can run again for the same office
after someone else has served.
To run for office, you must be a U.S. citizen, and at least 18 years old. Also to be eligible to run for office, a candidate must be a resident and registered voter of the city.

Voters qualify for
registration by being a U.S. citizen, aged 18 years or older, a resident of
Commerce, and neither in prison nor on parole for a felony conviction.
Re-registration is required if you have moved since you last registered,
changed your name, or changed your political party affiliation.
The registration deadline is
15 days before an election. Voter Registration forms are available in the City
of Commerce Clerk's Office, Los Angeles Register/Recorder Offices and most
public buildings including Department of Motor Vehicles Offices, Post Offices,

completed registration form. You may
also register to vote online at the California Secretary of State's website.

Registration Form – You can download a Voter Registration form in English or
Spanish by visiting http://registertovote.ca.gov/
Polling Places may change
from election to election - be sure to verify your polling location by checking
the Voter Pamphlet/Sample Ballot you received in the mail or check online with
the Registrar of Voters online lookup tool.
Vote-by-Mail voters may drop
off their voted vote-by-mail ballot at the Commerce City Clerk’s Office, Monday
- Friday from 8am - 6pm through March 2, 2015.
On Election Day, vote-by-mail voters may drop their ballot at any
polling place in the City of Commerce.
Your vote-by-mail ballot must be in the return envelope provided and the
envelope must be signed by the voter as indicated.
Polls open on Election Day
at 7:00 a.m. and polls close at 8:00 p.m.
