The Finance Department administers the financial affairs of the City and the Water Utility. 
 
Responsibilities
The department is responsible for:
  • Aiding the city administrator in the preparation of the annual budget
  • Preparing all necessary financial reports and performing internal audits
  • Providing support services to the City Council, the city administrator and the operating departments
  • Purchasing, data processing, risk management, maintaining the accounting system and performing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
