Holiday Collection Schedule
Trash and recycling services will not be provided on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. When a specified holiday falls on a weekday, collections will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week. All other holidays throughout the year will have regularly scheduled service.

Christmas Tree Recycling
Christmas trees are collected the first full week in January. Please remove all decorations along with the stand and place your tree at the curb on your regular collection day. Flocked trees cannot be recycled and will be collected as waste. If you place your tree out for collection during any other week, then you must follow the regular recycling procedures and cut the tree into pieces no longer 4 feet and place them in your greenwaste container.

The City encourages reusing artificial Christmas trees in place of real trees.  This will reduce the amount of trees needing to be removed from the environment and recycled.
