Household Hazardous Waste Includes the following:
  • Brake fluid, anti-freeze, motor oil and filters
  • Paint, paint thinner
  • Cleaners with acid or lye
  • Pesticides or herbicides
  • Household and car batteries
  • Pool chemicals
  • Fluorescent light bulbs
  • Expired medicine
  • Home-generated sharps waste 

How to prepare items for transportation:
  • Transport items in a sturdy box, preferably in their original labeled containers.
  • Do not mix the items together.
  • Be prepared to leave your containers and boxes.

Recycle with PaintCare, a non-profit organization established to set up more places for people to take unwanted, leftover paint.

If you have a large amount of unwanted paint, Paintcare offers a free pick-up service to households or businesses with at least 200 gallons of paint. Call PaintCare at (855) 724-6809 or fill out and submit the Large Volume Pick-Up Request Form.

  • All Waste Collection Services are suspended during rainy weather
  • Waste may by collected with its container
