According to the Climate Prediction Center of the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration, there is a greater than 95 percent chance of a strong El Niño lasting through the 2015/16 winter season, which typically brings sustained periods of heavy rainfall. The City of Commerce Emergency Preparedness Office has created the following list of resources to help residents, businesses and visitors mitigate the storm’s effects.
