Mission Statement
The staff of the Human Resources Department strive to serve the City of Commerce in three important ways. The Human Resources Department assists all City departments in providing the best possible services to our residents, business community, and the general public by ensuring a safe and rewarding work environment that attracts, retains and develops professional employees. In addition, they strive to protect the dignity of individuals, honoring their right to fair consideration in all aspects of employment and to the pursuit of a rewarding career without regard to race, sex, religion, age, political beliefs, national origin, or marital status.
