FOOD DISTRIBUTION FOR LOW INCOME RESIDENTS/SENIORS
The Emergency Food Assistance Program through the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank provides the city with surplus food commodities from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). There is a waiting list to be accepted to the program. Please contact the Community Services Department for information.
During the Christmas Holidays, the City of Commerce receives food donations from local businesses. With the help of community volunteers, the food is packaged and distributed to the less fortunate families who apply. A current Commerce Resident card is required.
