Mission Statement The mission of the Commerce Public Library is to be a 21st century library serving its users as a community center where professional staff insures that quality materials, services and programs are provided for the public and that public computers and free Internet are available to all. The Commerce Public Library will continue to be an institution of life-long learning working to improve the quality of life of the people it serves including our business community. In order to serve the entire community the library provides services in both English and Spanish. “Leer es poder.”
Special Resources Offered Greenwood Library has library materials, including books, CDs, videos, DVDs, computer software, magazines, newspapers, audiotapes, and books on cassette, available in English or Spanish. Special Programs include Children's Story Time, and the Summer Reading Program. Orientations are provided for the use of public access computers and the Internet. Class visits to the library are offered by appointment to the local elementary schools and other groups.
