Commerce is directly served by the Santa Ana (I-5) and Long Beach (I-710) Freeways, and is located in the center of the entire Southern California freeway network. |
| RAILWAYS: |
The rail spur service within the city is provided by the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe, Southern Pacific, and Union Pacific railroads. |
| HARBORS: |
The port of Long Beach is 20 miles to the southwest and the port of Los Angeles is 25 miles to the southwest. |
| PUBLIC TRANSIT: |
Commerce has its own municipal bus system which carries approximately 970,000 passengers annually. No fare is charged. The Montebello Bus Line and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) also serve the area. The Metrolink commuter trains stop at the Commerce station daily. |
