The Commerce City Council has retained the firm of Olivo and Plascencia to handle the city’s legal affairs.

Attorney Eduardo Olivo, who attended Loyola Law School and earned his J.D. in 1990, is the City of Commerce City Attorney, attending City Council meetings and advising Council and staff on all city legal matters. The firm also handles the city’s redevelopment legal matters.

The office of Olivo and Plascencia is based in the city of La Habra. The firm had previously served as the city's legal counsel on an interim basis.
