ANIMAL CONTROL
 The Animal Control Officers handle all animal problems within the city exclusively. Trained to handle both domestic and exotic animals excluding insects and rodents, they can be reached during the day and evenings.
Animal Control is one of the most recently updated and effective operations in the public safety arsenal. With two full-time officers, the city has one of the most effective programs in the area. When the city's officers are not on duty, the city contracts with LA County Animal Control for continuous service. LACAC is at (562) 940-6898 after hours.
